After 2 years of playing a relatively good Chinese hand pan I took a leap and asked Dan to make me a mutant pan in D minor Kurd, and I am sooo pleased I did!
The difference is amazing. I love sustain that the stainless body brings, it's delicious, rich and mesmerising. The harmonics ring clear and it seems to me that basically every part of the pan is a playable in some way. Dan has great attention to detail so the pan is made beautifully and much more of a professional instrument. I am really happy with the colour too. I am very much enjoying getting to know the pan and I am sure that it will take my playing to another level. Thank you Dan!!

I would highly recommend Dan from Salvatore Handpans if you are looking for excellent customer service and good quality handpans. From the my first telephone conversation with Dan, through to my recent purchase of my first Handpan, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything I needed to know and was patient in answering all of my questions. Amongst the many Handpan makers in England who I researched prior to buying a handpan ( and wow - there are many), Dan won me over, through his calm, extremely genuine nature. This remained evident when I finally visited him to try out his handpans. Despite, intending not make a purchase on that occasion, I was overcome with just how beautiful they sounded in person and left with a magnificent D Celtic, which I intend to use for my therapeutic business.
Do check him out and go and see him if you get the chance - he will not disappoint.

My son had always wanted a handpan, so we decided to get one for his 21st birthday. Despite much Internet researching, I didn't feel confident enough to part with the money at that time. Fast forward, and by chance, I met Dan. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. My son was able to try out various options and gain valuable tuition before choosing the perfect one for himself. This was then expertly made to order by Dan, which made it extra special. We are dilighted with the whose process and would highly recommend Dan and Salvatore Handpans.

I recently bought a this incredible raw pan from Dan at Salvator Handpans. Tuned in D minor 432hz. Id been searching for a beginners pan for a while and what i saw this i knew it was the one. Buying from a maker was always my intention but i found it difficult with my budget.
I went to pick the pan up from Dans studio and he was more than helpful with showing me around the pan. His skills as a maker and musician made me confident id made the right decision. The pan plays beautifully and you can tell how much time and energy has been put in to making such a piece. If anyone if looking for a pan definitely speak to Dan

I am a Sound Therapist and have been looking at handpan’s for sometime.
It’s important to me to invest in the highest quality instruments for sound healing and finding Dan randomly (or not!) on Facebook marketplace place where he was advertising a purple raw budget pan I felt like I’d found the right person and a doable driving distance. After connecting with Dan and having a consultation if you like about my needs he was able to fully advise me on what pan I needed and custom made me the 432hz stainless in D. Even providing me with the natural finish on the metal I so wanted. He spent many hours talking with me and other pan makers to ensure it came out exactly the way I wanted and it’s incredibly beautiful.
Dan really cares about his craft and what you will be using the pan for. His attention to detail I think sets him apart and if you are wanting a quality instrument made with care and good intentions then you couldn’t find a better maker. Being a player himself he knows exactly what is needed from a professional pan and will talk you through the whole process.
When it was time to pick up my pan he was incredibly patient with my little 4 year old who came too! While also giving me a lesson and choice on which pan I took home. Of course the pan that he made for me was perfect and I’ve had such joy playing her and can’t wait to integrate her into my sound healing sessions and take her out into the community where she is needed.
Thanks again Dan! Xxx
Highly recommend Salvatore Handpans!

I bought my first handpan from Salvatore Hanpans. The handpan is beautifully handmade from stainless steel and tuned in C# scale, 432Hz. The sound is other worldly and the quality and craftsmanship is of very high quality. Dan was super helpful on advising me about the handpan and he also gave me a free lesson to try before purchase, which I was very grateful for. It really helped to see and hear the handpan in action and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Dan also advised me on which carry case to buy and the general aftercare of the pan. He is very knowledgeable and I felt confident I was making the right choice of handpan. I highly recommend Salvatore Handpans.

So I’d been looking at lots of hand pan videos on YouTube after my wife introduced me to an album that was all made on hand pans which literally blew me away. I’d not heard of them before so It was all very new to me. It slowly became clear that to get a nice one you’d be paying a lot of money which was quite a daunting thought process.
After realising that buying a cheap one on Amazon would more than likely see me receiving a poorly tuned hand pan I decided to look on the secondary market which is where I came across a sales post from Dan at Salvatore handspans. He was selling a raw D minor hand pan tuned at 432hz which sounded amazing in the sample video provided.
I read on further where Dan explains the difference between Raw and stainless and why stainless sounds better and is the more expensive route to go, however his raw hand pans go through the same tuning process as his stainless ones and also sound great.
After speaking to Dan and asking multiple question he kindly invited me to come and collect the hand pan in person. He was an absolute gentleman to deal with and took a lot of time to show me his other hand pans and how I need to play them etc etc. I had my 8 year old son with me who was also very excited and because of this wanted to smash all the hand pans at full strength. Dan noticed my son’s enthusiasm and his natural rhythmic ability and gifted my son an old hand pan that would be perfect for him to practice on. Both my son and myself left Dan feeling extremely great full.
I couldn’t recommend salvatore handspans enough. Amazing handspans made by an absolute legend.
There is something for everyone one there, you may not have a massive budget or you may just be looking for your first hand pan but not wanted to spend big bucks in which case you’d go for one of his RAW steel pans or you maybe more experienced and looking for something extra special in which case you’d be looking at his beautiful stainless pans.
